He could have been in a better position on the second goal, for one. That, coupled with the aforementioned lack of authority, knocked him down.

He didn't have many saves to make so I can't really go any higher, in my opinion.

Old Man Andrews Why have you given Walker a 4 when he didn't put a foot wrong? Very odd opinion, can't have seen the game.

Because I have a different opinion to you.

I thought he was in a poor position on the second goal and didn't look very commanding overall. He didn't really do a lot to bump his score up either.

What exactly would you have liked him to have done to bump it up?

I have to question your football knowledge I'm afraid, especially your knowledge on goalkeeping. Appears to be very limited.

4 is a very low score for Walkers performance but I will say Walker needs to work on his positioning. The 4 goals he conceded in the last 2 games were shots you could reasonably expect tò be saved.

He was caught flat footed for both Norwich goals (Pukkis shot was pretty good actually) and was guilty of poor anticipation for both Preston goals. But he's been pretty good so far. Maybe needs some confidence.

Just checking and Bod has now scored 4 goals in just 389 minutes
on the pitch.

Two of his sub appearances were as LW

3/4 of his goals have been when he's started so we can't say it's "subs find goals easier"

Overall in 2017-18 he has made 43 appearances (almost a full season's worth)
but many not 90 minutes, for 2348 minutes and got 14 goals and two assists

That's a goal every 167 minutes, a goal or assist every 147 minutes

and still he isn't an automatic choice?

lightning strikes You lot are all so sensitive. So what if he rejected ireland, he was born in basingstoke, perhaps he just didn't feel irish or didn't want to take the place of someone who was actually irish. As for communicating by text, agree it ain't the best but who amongst us hasn't broken a relationship or quit a job by text.
As for the relegation comment, i think it's good that he was trying to maintain a calm mentality so that he and the team didn't play with fear.

No I don’t agree. Not all of us have an obsession with texting. If I finished with a girlfriend it was face to face. If I resigned from my job it would be via formal letter of resignation.

Well you sound very mature and sensible, probably not got any tattoos.

Find it laughable he isn't the first name on the teamsheet. He has scored some very good strikers goals this season and seems to have that ability to be in the right place at the right time. Has to start tomorrow.

He's approaching a full season of appearances.

Currently 40 apps and 11 goals for us.

If you watch the replay of his goal v Norwich he is almost at the opposite post
but gets across to the loose ball faster than the keeper, the defender or any of RDG's other players

He may not be a world-beater but he should start as long as his stats are this good or half as good

The generic footballer Tats have just become the norm and I'm not a fan of but I have many friends with some really fantastic artwork.

He just reacts quicker than everyone, he sees that the there isn't going to be a clean head on the ball and comes across to poach / poke it in. Still a very decent finish being so close to the keeper and a rabble of players.
Bod and Baldock in a 442 please.

Would say Bod's Reading career, in a woeful side, has been very underrated. One small light amongst a wealth of shitness

+1

Obviously not the most technically gifted but he works his socks off (more than can be said for a lot of this team), and seems to be adding more goals this season.

I think we should persist with him and one of Baldock/McNulty and give them time to form a partnership, can't really see any of them holding down the lone striker role.

This.

However 2 up front would require someone (anyone) who could actually tackle in midfield. Which we STILL don't have.

Meyler's clearly not up to the job and nor is Bacuna.
