Looks more like 4-2-3-1 to me. Kelly and Saied sitting, Baldock and Sims wide.

Looks like a 4-3-3 to me! Gotta love football eh?

That's also pretty similar tbf.

Snowflake Royal This feels like an amateur charity exhibition. Hull are genuinely the worst team I've seen, including non-league. They're barely even there.

But we've had our warnings, we could always still lose or draw, gotta get some daylight.

We look poor, but Hull are letting us play and can't pass. Ezatolahi is an odd one. Some lovely touches, very calm, good positioning good vision and intent. Then every now and then he'll do something so basic badly, particularly very soft or wayward passes.

Kelly has a rocket up his arse, Yiadomis so much better on theright, O'Shea has had nothing to do. Sims looks like a breath of fresh air, but it's hard to judge against Hull they're that bad. Still he could be shit and still ten times the player Aluko is. Bacuna better further forward driving us on.

We'll still lose the next game and go down, unless we can play Hull every week.

Yup.......spot on with all of that. Hull are absolute garbage, they look like this is the first time they have ever met each other. I'm wet and I'm bored.....still if it stays like this 3 points is 3 points.....doesn't change my mind on anything though.

Taking off Eza for Swift feels like totally the wrong move.

Back to a midfield of Kelly, swift and bacuna. Lightweight.

Steve_Upper_West What formation are we playing...?

4-1-4-1

Looks more like 4-2-3-1 to me. Kelly and Saied sitting, Baldock and Sims wide. I spose they're not disimilar though

No way was Kelly sitting in the first half. Eza was holding and letting Kelly and Bacuna play much freer behind Bod

Quick, let's update Bod's goals per games/mins
Much improved performance today.
Hull look awful, can't believe they subbed off Bowen.

Great team performance today. Put away a poor Hull side. If anything we should have another couple more.

Yep, O'Shea actually had a good game. Shame about the red. Initially thought it was in the box?
Sims very active today.
Very welcome 3 pts, table looks better now.

I can only go by the text reports but it sounded like Hull had very few chances today. Interested by read the BFTG reports but hope to see more of O'Shea, Eza and Sims going forward...

So now we know there's at least 1 team worse than us.

Well let’s get the fact that Hull were utterly atrocious out of the way first off. They were utter faeces

Now onto us;

Far better display without being perfect. Much more aggression, much more intent. First 30 couldn’t have been any different to the first 30 on weds. The fact that Gunter and Aluko were missing from the starting line up clearly no coincidence to that

We had some very good passages of play, so untidy and lethargic spells and the odd lapse at the back but overall a vast vast improvement

Walker decent bar the disallowed Goal error which was a little ugly

Ilori looked out of position but stuck to it and did a job. Yiadom was excellent (though he really has a pretty weak left foot)

The Iranian was very good first half but tired very quickly. Rightly replaced

Kelly untidy at times but stuck at it. Poor passing though

Liked Bacuna’s performance a lot. How the fcuk has it taken a year to realise he is great at set pieces while we’ve been stuck with Kelly and Aluko’s woeful efforts?

Sims a massive upgrade on Aluko. One every way. O shea did a job and organised the back line well - lack of pace an issue of course

Overall job done. Shows what can be done by increasing the effort and tempo.

Can only beat what`s in front of you but it`s hard to see us playing a worse team than Hull this season, good performance if we can do it against better teams is still to be seen.

Heh, we're 10 pts off top

O'Shea straight red(?), out 2-3 games. Steady, and read game well.
Baldock worked hard, nice poacher’s goal under pressure, but does he like playing wide?
Bod enjoyed it vs this lot, still loses too many headers easily, need quick update re. goals per mins
Swift unlucky to be dropped
Yiadom a live wire, had assist and a goal
Bacuna can have big year if more consistent week to week
Walker ok, bit nervy, more a physical presence than a keeper
McNulty can't get on the park
Meyler can't get in squad
Barrow and Kelly have regressed. Barrow our best player last season?
Hull poor, but result can be confidence builder.
