I'd go 5 at the back and park the bus. We need points desperately and if it means playing ugly then so be it.

With the awful players we have, 5 at the back has always been the best system.

Allowes us to have a threat with two up front too. Also means we don't need to play any of our awful wingers.

A clean sheet will do wonders for the team. 1 point and being shite is far better than trying to play good football and actually being shite.
Unfortunately parking the bus will require some flair and pace up top.........Barrow is the obvious player to be the out ball for this tactic.

What happens if we lose this one? Does he have to then beat Ipswich to save his job?

You can usually rely on a manager not getting the sack until at least a month after fans actively start calling for him to go. I don't think there's yet a lot of serious talk about him having to go on here yet, so I reckon he's got until at least Sheffield Utd / Rotherham in December.

Jaakkola
Blackett
Moore
Ilori
Yiadom
Bacuna
Swift
McCleary
Baldock
Meite
Bodvarsson

4-4-2 Very attack minded but just for a change just bloody go for it.
GMac and Baldock on the flanks with Bod and Meite up top.

If we lose our next two he’s well and truly gone.

Longer term he pretty much already is,it's just a matter of time before we get another pointless and tiresome sacking, but I'd bet he outlasts the International break.

Yeah that. And play more direct. Give Bacuna and Swift as little to worry about as possible

Yiadom needs a break this Saturday. He has really gone off the boil in the last couple of games after a very decent start.

He just looks tired to me. Am I right in saying he has started every game for us? Just needs a game off I think.

Do agree with this to an extent, had Gunter/Blackett have put the performance Yiadom did on Saturday the BFTG thread would be triple the posts saying how poor they are. Yiadom put in possibly the worst individual performance of the season at the weekend, haven't seen a winger get past their man as often as theirs did on Saturday, and absolutely brain dead for the penalty
