In a nutshell

1st half atrocious. Great goal from Meite but otherwise utterly outplayed

2nd half big improvement but still not brilliant. Shape much better

Another fantastic Meite header and suddenly we’re brilliant for the last ten (except the finishing) But a draw fair

Defence were appalling. Blackett at FB and Yiadom horrendous. Rino was dreadful and rightly taken off. Baldock very poor bar the assist. Meite very very good. Kelly decent, as was McCleary. Ref hated Barrow

Poor result but not a total disaster

Defeat at Newcastle isn`t a total disaster, don`t be so hard on yourself.

Ascotexgunner Desperately hoping Clement gets his P45 if we lose this. This is disgusting against a sh+t Ipswich team.

Neither of their goals anything to do with Clement - really poor give a dog a bad naming.

Apart from the fact that he is the manager/coach who is meant to be improving performances and stopping those sort of goals occurring week after week. If any teams in a real working environment consistently performed this badly, their manager would rightly be held to account.

The workforce would be put on performance improvement plans and potentially be heading for the sack. If they consistantly showed a complete inability to do their jobs. Bring back performance related pay. No performance no pay.

genome Oh dear...

About as depressing as our first half, that rant...

I actually found DD's descent back into cretinous abuse and tantruming much more entertaining than anything on the pitch today. Which is bad of me, seeing as he clearly has Issues with a capital Issues.

We are CLEARLY improving

First six games 0.33 ppg

Next 6 1.16 ppg

Next FIVE 1.4 ppg

Moore is not in his best form. But how do you drop him? For Ilori. For McShane? Blackett? OShea?

OShea in the side and we ship almost two goals every game. Fans say Blackett lacks a brain/concentration, “McShane is finished”, “Ilori always has a mistake in him”

And “OShea is too old and too slow”

Yeah agree this is no time to be sacking him. We are improving but still putting in some disappointing performances

I think a lot of us said as soon as we saw Eza he would be a huge player for us. Huge shame he got injured

Are we improving or just picking up points against weaker sides? Let’s see how much we have improved after the next six!

Thought that but Brum and Swansea away are tough, Millwall improving and Brizzle were (somehow) on the edge of the POs when we played them

If I heard him correctly, Clement reckons we've got an equal opportunity to pick up points in those. Factually correct in that there are still points for a win but based on the performances of him and our 'team'.............

Next seven, we're only at game five of this six cycle. Need to expect a little slump in a harder run of games... just as long as it's not a big one. And as long as we're
taking points off the teams around us we're in with a good shout.

The last two times we got relegated it was because we gifted comfortable away wins to our rivals.
