Hound Was surprised how Fletcher and Williams particularly seemed really short of confidence and as far from the 'arrogant footballer' stereotype as you could get.

Yep, Williams especially seemed a very meek and fragile character despite his obvious talent.

Now that might just be how it was edited, but it just goes to show that it doesn't matter how much these guys are paid they're still everyday people whose performances are effected by all sorts of things that we, as fans, just aren't privy to usually.

It also was quite an interesting window into how loanees can fail to settle at clubs or feel any real belonging. Although I guess that goes for some permanent signings too!

The value of academy produced talent should never be underestimated. Even if one day they move on to bigger and better things.

What are the ten lowest points totals for staying up in the 46-game Championship?

On another thread I'm arguing that if we can beat Wigan and Rotherham, beat Bolton
or draw there, and also manage 19 points from the other 17 (1.12 ppg) games we will stay up, 5th bottom

Not sure if it will make much difference to us - but Brum are almost certainly getting a large points deduction:

Going back how far?
Do you mean total 21st got, or total 22nd got +1 GD?

This is the last 10 years from soccerbase to start you
15/16 - 22nd: 40 -40 GD / 21st: 49
11/12 - 22nd: 40* -9 GD -10pts / 21st: 48, 20th: 49
14/15 - 22nd: 41 -34 GD / 21st: 46* -3pts
17/18 - 22nd: 41 -24 GD / 21st: 43
10/11 - 22nd: 42 -25 GD / 21st: 48
13/14 - 22nd: 44 -31 GD / 21st: 44
08/09 - 22nd: 46 -13 GD / 21st: 51
09/10 - 22nd: 47 -20 GD / 21st: 49* -10pts, 20th: 52
16/17 - 22nd: 51 -12 GD / 21st: 51
12/13 - 22nd: 54 -9 GD / 21st: 55

Your total would likely see us stay up. But there's no way we're getting 48 points based on what I've seen so far. 44 might be enough but something will have to change for us to get that given we've got 20 from 26 and we're getting worse not better.

May drag them down but far from out. Wonder if Reading are treading a fine line.
