super darren caskey I suspect Howe wanted Parky but the owners didn't

I wanted Parky or at the very least somebody of that mold that wouldn't be shy to throw a few tea cups about at halftime

Me too....simply because we’ve tried the more progressive approach and these players haven’t responded.

Longhorn1970 You can't blame Gomes, it's not his fault he has no experience of the championship, Nige knew that when he hired him !

Could it possibly be that the Iranian spiv over-ruled Nigel Howe's thoughts on the matter? Still, look on the bright side, Callum Harriott has scored. Nice little pick-me-up for the guy after 2 years on the injured list. Genuine, not ironic, honest.

This certainly isn't Gomes' fault, and he deserves longer before being properly judged. And even if he does fail it's still not his fault.

But there was nothing to suggest he'd be a good appointment before he got the job. Nothing to suggest he'd be successful once he was annoinced, and the first three games have done nothing to change that.

The club seems as badly managed from the top as ever.

2019. A year signed off getting dicked by an average Swansea side and topped off by losing to shit Lincoln City and Accrington Stanley sides at Christmas.

Not sure this is a particularly controversial view, tbh.

Now five points from safety, we're fcuked , bit like an old dog that's had its day and the sooner it's put to sleep the better to put everybody out of their misery.

Potter wouldn't have come mid-season. Clement was basically the only man available.

Unlike a month ago, when there were actually quite a few half-decent managers out of work.
