Why oh why can't Swift be like this more frequently. You can see the talent. Though he just gave the ball away for that goal.....the rest of his game has been superb.

Swift carelessly gives the ball away, Man Utd break and 2-0.

The referee missed the foul (it was a foul), the ball rolled through to Fred who was offside. Linesman flaggef and they consulted VAR. VAR noticed the referee had made a clear and obvious error in not awarding the penalty. I think it was fair decision.

I'd like to add that the players have put in a brilliant performance regardless of the score and hopefully this will give them confidence to take into the league.

Very poor from Swift and Ilori with his usual comedy defending.

2-0 down against Manure at half time and playing well

Would have taken that in the “good old days”

Let’s be realistic here

Playing really well but we always hope for a shock - isn't going to happen now.

Lukaku showed Loader how to round the keeper and score.

Snowflake Royal
WoodleyRoyal
Snowflake Royal looked easily offside to me.

You’re wrong

So me, bcubed, the lino, commentators and the VAR ref are all wrong but we should just take your word on it with no explanation.

Ok. :|

Fred was offside

Good performance so far but its glaringly obvious where our faults lie. Wish Loaders chance had fallen to Baldock or Harriot..,.could have been a better result.

Good general play let down by a total lack of conviction at either end of the pitch.

TBF if Moore had made the effort to cover the line behind his keeper, it might have been different, Loader didn't really have a shot on because of the cover. Still should have had a dig though obviously.

This to me looks very similar to Stam, but a slightly higher tempo and a little more intent in the middle third. We're confident on the ball but making stupid individual errors that cost us and have absolutely zero penetration in the final third.

Apart from giving the ball away for the second goal, Swift has had an excellent game. Has the skill and vision to pick passes that nobody else in our team really has at the moment. Think he's being scapegoated a bit.

Kelly and Rinomhota look really good together. Harriot and Yiadom have worked hard but no end product.

Loader needs to go on loan. Obviously loads of potential, but he's not ready and it's not fair to expect so much from him.

Shame we didn't manage to nick a goal but there's some optimism to draw from that first half for the league.
