Graham and Dack not starting for them - that's all their goal threat just about.

Mulgrew (pen) seems to be one of their most regular scorers whenever I’ve taken notice

Kelly seems likely to be on a hiding to nothing with Swift and Baker... not the circumstances to prove his detractors wrong.

I see Reading have started on the front foot and really taken the game to Blackburn

Yep, that touch wasn't good. Can't say he didn't put himself on the line to try to save it, but still failed and caused a break and good chance.

Oliveira looks really good.

15 minutes in and I'm sick of Aluko already.

Snowflake Royal Why would I give that scumbag Murdoch hundreds of pounds a year to watch half a dozen Reading games?

Other option is actually going to the game maybe?

Well, either I cocked up and booked the wrong leave or the game was moved. It's not possible for me to get from Cambridge to Reading and back again for an evening game.

And right now I'm not willing to spend £40 and six hours travelling for the shit show we currently are. So I'm taking the advice I've given other people and am staying away until I can turn up with some positivity.
The club are welcome to the money from my ST in the meantime.

Out of interest how many games have you been to?
I think I may hold the record for the least number of games attended for a season ticket holder

Swift giving the ball away repeatedly in imitation of Aluko and Kelly.

This is the most Jaap Stam of Jaap Stam teams.

A team and formation seemingly picked for a turgid 0-0. Cycling it around aimlessly in out own half until we eventually lose it.

Christ it better not stay like this

Not sure. Four or five, plus another three or four on stream before tonight maybe. Might be a bit better than that.

It's just not happened this season, I've put in about as much effort as half our players.

What do you expect with a powderpuff midfield of Kelly, Swift and Aluko. It's made to get overrun.

OOO Oliveira nearly scored from our half!

Yep definitely a regression from other games I’ve seen. Midfield been hopeless - so sloppy

Desperately need a midfielder who can tackle.

Blackburn pressing high and Reading just not able to get the ball forward or pose any threat whatsoever.

Surely they practice and plan for playing out and posing a threat when being pressed during training?

First sign of a mistake in the transfer window from Gomes. No Ezatolahi, no Rinomhota and no Bacuna means there's literally no one in the team capable of getting stuck in in the middle of the pitch. Just an endless list of tidy passers who don't really tackle or create.

I get that.....I've only missed 4 home games including tonight (funeral today), but I always feel guilty for not going. I can understand why you wouldn't go. This is just awful......and the midfield look like they haven't played the game before.
