URZZZZ2 world wars, 1 world cup 1)
5) As did Meite. I f**king love Meite. Give me 11 Meites and I'll love watching the team.
.
Meite is and was woeful on Saturday, good header at the end aside. He's painfully slow for someone that looks quick, his holdup play is atrocious and he doesn't even win many headers. Can't fault his effort/passion, but put me on a pitch and I'd show effort and passion so it's a bit of a nonsense argument
Played a major part in the injury time winning goals in successive weeks which would suggest he has something more to offer than simply running around a lot and charming Micky Gooding in post match interviews.
In an ideal world I wouldn't have him in our starting line up because I believe we have better players when all are fit but it's good to know that he can contribute when we've so many injuries and in terms of physicality he offers something different to what we have.
It's easy to focus on his limitations (because he has plenty for sure) but he's still relatively young and is contributing. I think he warrants a little more respect than he gets given by many.
