Swift plays like he's in a school playground showing off against 10 year olds, not against a quality physical side.

Always been a dangerous fixture.

If they put 4 or 5 past us with this team's fragile confidence it's going to make a difficult run in even harder.

windermereROYAL I`m truly amazed anyone thought it would be any different tonight we would have struggled with a full strength team.

You always love in hope with Reading.......The team selection tonight has mystified me.
We will be lucky to get in 0-3 down at HT.

Swift is the most lightweight ineffective midfielder I've ever seen. A complete luxury.

He is one of the most lightweight players Ive ever seen. Can't tackle, no strength, and gets pushed off the ball way too easily.

If we had an actual defensive midfielder and a proper striker to lead the line things would be a bit different. But we've got an Academy player who is a playmaker making his debut paired with an average senior midfielder who also isnt defensive and an Academy lad that hasnt looked ready in his dozen odd appearances leading the line.

East's doing alright considering IMO. Calm, trying to get stuck in. Smart passes.

Well at least Wigan and Ipswich are also losing at h/t. So bizarrely we are still 19th. I do feel we are back to relying on other matches to keep us up this season.

He's always trying to do something clever like a drag back and turn, clipped pass with the outside of his foot, nutmeg, three touches when he needs one, inviting a challenge and then not doing enough to move the ball round it.

Just play simple. Do the basics right. Play a firm pass, early. Easy ball.

In case anyone is remotely interested Treason May's so-called "deal" was defeated again tonight by 149 votes. Apologies got bored looking at Sky Sports Action after their third went in.

Liam Kelly should have played. Would have made all the difference.

Snowflake Royal LOL at me saying this, but Gunter has been fine this season IMO and is better than McShane.

Hear, hear Ian.

Reading’s best player since Jimmy left.

A game without Gunter marauding down the right is a sad game. Haven’t seen any attacking influence from our other right backs.

You need to stay off the Coors Lights me old son.

Horrific beer.

We wouldn’t be 3-0 down with Gunter at left back, 1-0 more like.

The whole side are too weak, there is no strength apart from Harriott who honestly isn't up to scratch in this league.

Hopefully we will get to May on the right side of the dotted line and rebuild. I think Gomes needs about 8 or 9 players to stop us being in this same place next season

Good work from East but this is going to be embarrassing.

We're just giving the ball away. Stop doing that and we might have been OK
