Hound Nice. Do we get a bunch of loan players from them as part of the deal? My bet is one would be Izzy Brown

Lucas Piazon - I've heard he's supposed to be decent

paultheroyal Club will think they have softened the blow somewhat with at long last a decent home friendly lined up. Should be the biggest crowd we will have all season lol.

Probably Bournemouth, Brighton or Watford.

Think blue, top 4 and you have your answer.

Quite a coup to get the league champions preseason......

Looks like Watford have announced a friendly between their U23's and Reading on August 3rd although does say tbc in brackets in the article.

Looking forward to see Scott Davies tear them a new one and Jimmy Kebe take the ball around Petr Cech.

I just can't consider anything to do with Chelsea as a positive.

Bang up to date -not.
It says that Loftus-Cheek and Hudson -Odoi might well play-anybody who follows football would know that these two have very long term injuries and won't be available in 2 months' time.

I very rarely got to pre-season friendlies but am pleased that the club appears to have kept the connection with Chelsea going which must surely help us with further loan deals ongoing.
Without the two from last season we might not even still be in this division.

As it stands we won’t have any chelsea loanees by the time we play them anyway.

Is it wishful thinking that potentially the friendly is a precursor to perhaps securing their services for another year? :?

Also worth noting that the Sevilla game will be open to the public, if anyone happens to be in the area.

Worth noting not at Sevilla's normal stadium but the Felipe del Valle stadium.
