Deduct the suspended 2 and it's only 3 and Cheltenham have a game in hand. We can't afford to throw away points at home.

What intensity we had went with the goal. Smith, credit for the header, but he was off celebrating when he should have had the ball in his hands and been sprinting for the half way line. We're not here to draw games, and there's plenty of time to bask in the appreciation when the final whistle blows.

Mola's challenge was ridiculous, first lesson of defending type stuff. He's been improving but of course he's still got that in his locker.

That's another game we've gone into after a good performance and a week off and just not turned up, and now we're properly back in the scrap.

WestYorksRoyal I'm so sick of this. I could take this inconsistency on the pitch if everything was fine off the pitch. But we know we're likely to lose 2 more points and our failure to pull away from the drop zone makes the takeover more complicated and threatens the existence of the club.

Not fair to put that pressure on the players but it's where we are. Bad results aren't an inconvenience. They're a disaster.

Next up a midweek away match against WWLLWW Derby in second.

Derby should have been a free hit but we need at least a point now.

Utter cr@p. Selles needs to take the wr@p for that, utterly inexcusable failure to take the game to the opponents yet AGAIN!

Wonder if prospective new owners are taking note....

Christ alive the first half, and after the equaliser were like pre-Christmas. No control, no intensity, no idea. Can’t really be bothered to comment on the short lived good bit.

Ref was dreadful as always. Allowed their keeper to timewaste every time he had the ball starting in the 6th minute at 0-0.

Utter shit

It was inevitable we'd lose that, shit ref, a team programmed to win free kicks and waste time, and an insipid Reading performance.

Just when we needed a good win with a big crowd we feebly fade into a pathetic loss against another shit team, it was Fleetwood all over again.

I think our recent results have broken the idea that we're a top half team in a relegated scrap by accident. Okay, with 6 points more we wouldn't be near relegation, but we'd still be bottom half. We're not favourites to win any game and can't ever afford to relax.

It was another game in the eternal question of were Reading good/bad because Knibbs was good/bad or vice versa. And both were extremely bad.

They are a much better club than Reading at the moment. Grow up.

BFTG.

I think 98% of people are going to say the same thing about this one.

Truly dreadful, insipid, weak first half.

I remember the slow start being a feature of the Ince era, to the extent he addressed it in an interview - he said he told them not to do it but they did it time after time. For probably only the second time this season we look like a team deflated, low on confidence and energy.

The second half up to Smith’s goal was the Reading we’ve been seeing game after game - moving the ball quickly, getting down the wings, getting behind the opposition in the box: all smart angles, fast movement on and off the ball.

Then again they relaxed, and a calamitous error let Wycombe win it at the end.

Time wasting no worse than I’d expect from any team defending a slim lead away from home. Officials got most things right. Wycombe are no world beaters but the did a thoroughly creditable job on us.

Even at our worst the lads have never seemed to lack effort this season, despite all of the circumstances. But today the first 45 minutes today looked like the performance of a team tired of getting kicked in the b0llcks. Hard to blame them.

Actually thought Mola was MOTM before that moment of madness. Looked much more committed defensively than I’d seen him before and got forward effectively.

Pretty uninspiring stuff - good intensity at the start of the second half but then we faded. Thought Craig did better than Wing but understandable that Wing would stay on when we’re chasing. Defence far too willing to go long at times when it wasn’t on.

Didn’t mind too many of the ref’s calls other than him being far too soft on the Wycombe goalkeeper. Should have punished him in the first half (yellow card/indirect free kick/whatever), that would have kept him honest. One minute added in the first half was a joke but can’t complain much about the second half. That aside his decisions generally seemed defensible.

I once saw a guy censor “b@thwank” like that, seemingly unaware that he’d censored the inoffensive bit of the word.

Anyway it’s “take the rap”.

Against Shrewsbury and today our intensity dropped having done the hard work to get level. Poor starts in both, but in both we recovered only to blow it again. That's more disappointing than today's woeful 1st half.

Yeah that pretty much. Can’t be arsed to add a lot more now

Mola had a really decent game up until the penalty. Shame for him. Hoepfully the team will learn its lessons from taking the foot off the pedal after the goal - that’s what really cost us. 3 points were absolutely there for the taking
