So at the moment, the reception Bobby and Sidwell with receive are both pretty extreme polar opposites to me. I can't imagine that will change.

Interesting to read Bobbys comments about the privilege he feels to have been offered a contract by Reading - as opposed to the pay me what I think I'm worth comments from Sidwell.

I always thought he'd stay.

Since his upturn in fortunes he's seemed really happy here. We're the club that initially took the chance with him, we're the club that stuck with him when he was looking a bit like it wasn't going to work out for him here, we're the club that have got him playing in the form of his career, we're the fans that idolise him.

He always struck me as being very aware and grateful of the above factors, and we are extremely lucky to have a player like him.

Nice to have a bit o' mutual respect going on.

Maybe Convey should tell Sidwell where he does his food shopping, seeing as he can seemingly afford to eat on the wages RFC pays him, unlike Sidwell.

Don't forget, he does have a wife and kid to support though.

How can anyone survive on £12'000 a week .... I don't know.

Nice one Bobby! Very unfortunate not to come away with player of the season last year and has been awesome since he's settled in. IMO he's worth twice what Sidwell is.

Finch, to clear this up, what is your sexual tendancy?

Big well done to Bobby Convey who has had a rollercoaster ride since his move. He struggled at first and had to win over SC and the fans but credit where it's due, it would have been easy last season to not start pre season training with the rest of the 1st team squad and played for the US instead but that was the turning point in his RFC career.

His performances last season were excellent and it's so refreshing to see us play with natural width and him and Shorey compliment eachother so much.

Well done to Nick Hammond who initially found him and went to great lengths to secure him, and you would say the £800,000 looks a snip.
