Mark Reilly and Nick Colgan - don't ask me to choose one or t'other ...

Amazing thing is, Colgan is still being paid for his comedy 'keeping !

Meaker - no question. Most of the other notables in particular Reilly and his oppo Crawford were absolutley crap. Meaker was crap and annoying in the fact that he thought he was good. He was dire.

size 12 I always thought Sal Bibbo was on a par with Sheppard, and then he gets a goalkeeper's coaching job at the club!

At least Bibbo occasionally caught the ball.

Sheppard for me too, although we had Gerry Britton on loan from Celtic in McGhee's early days and he was shocking!

You can tell the pLOLastics on this thread.

Robinson? Do me a favour, he was more than able for the first 6-12 months or so and did a decent job in a transitional side.

Holsgrove? Come on purlease. Yes he'd had the pace of a snail but he was pretty decent in the middle and tunred into a bit of a poor man's Baresi when he filled in at the back.

Evers is without question the worst player I have ever seen in the hoops. He was a little boy lost - and for £500k. Half a oxf*rd millions pounds. At least Savage had a comedy element to him and cost us next to nothing.

Paul Brayson is a close second in the bad stakes just for his superb goal scoring record.

Loanee wise Kevin Lisbie was gash and was Potter (?). Good call on Mark Robins. He had 10 great minutes against Palace, then they scored 6.

Ashfordroyal Norfolk,
got to agree with you, Ollie Kearns, however I dont think it all unfair to call him "the worst".
Can you remember when we were attacking the town end, he tried to play a ball round a defender, over hit it, lost control, then made out he had made a brilliant pass, because by coincidence, our right back was overlapping. Fc@king hilarious!
And you are also spot on about, the arse, the elbow etc. if he ever had a good chance, a clear clean shot, he skyed it over the bar.
Ohhh, happy days!

The one I remember is also at the Town End when a cross came over on the deck which would have simple for Ollie to convert from around six yards out.

Instead, as the ball came to him he took a swing at it, completely missed it, and his left leg sort of carried on and got wrapped around his right leg before he fell over. What a twizzle.

Happy days though.

Colin Grodon was a lump, yes, but he was a trier ... and I remember him getting a cracking, back-heeeld goal at Chelsea in a League Cup match which we WON!!!

Malcolm Swain is traditionally thought of as being the absolute pits, as I recall ... . He did take a training session for us Ascot United U-11s once, though, years before clubs habitually had that kind of relationship with the community ... so I forgive him.
