Ollie Kearns did have a good scoring record yes, in off the arse, in off the elbow, in off the knee, etc.

He just looked so ungainly and spectacularly missed such easy chances.

Unfair to call him the worst, but he was certainly the most comical.

Roger Joslyn must be one of the worst. He actually played with a Zimmer frame once as I recall.

The first XI that played Wrexham away and lost 3-0 under Burns on the first game on the season. That was a long drive home (and we lost 4-1 to Bristol Rovers away a few days later).

I always thought Sal Bibbo was on a par with Sheppard, and then he gets a goalkeeper's coaching job at the club!

Mark Reilly was awful, but worst value for money has to be Sean Evers.

Anyone remember a loanee from Spurs, Dave MacDonald? Early 90's, he really was terrible

Matty Robinson was good when he first got here but as time went on he got gradully worse and worse and he was a lot better than are other left back at the time, Stuart Gray.

It has to be Mark Reily for me or maybe Jimmy Crawford.

Big Ern Robert Codner

Little know fact - he signed for us on no less than THREE separate occasions - and still only made 5 apps, one of which was as a sub.

Paul Lemon - loanee from Sunderland back in Porterfield's time. Lazy good for nothing heap of lard. Saw him in a game at EP when I swear he didn't even break into a jog the whole game. Couldn't believe I was watching a pro footballer. Must have had a big-time charlie attitide and couldn't lower himself to break sweat for a poxy little club like ours.

All the players mentioned did have some idea of what a football was

I still maintain that Bas Savage walked into the wrong building and was supposed to be there on work experience or something.

He wouldn't get a game at Didcot Town, absolutely shocking player.

Norfolk,
got to agree with you, Ollie Kearns, however I dont think it all unfair to call him "the worst".
Can you remember when we were attacking the town end, he tried to play a ball round a defender, over hit it, lost control, then made out he had made a brilliant pass, because by coincidence, our right back was overlapping. Fc@king hilarious!
And you are also spot on about, the arse, the elbow etc. if he ever had a good chance, a clear clean shot, he skyed it over the bar.
Ohhh, happy days!
