However much Hunt has impressed me this season... I do miss Bobby's style of play, and I hope next season he returns to doing this kinda stuff again...

couldn't agree more mate. i thought that when he first joined the club that he would be amazing and although his firt season was shakey to say the least last year he was one of the best players that we had.

i will be gutted if he isn't back with us next year.

Agreed, can't wait to see him back on the pitch at full strength.

I especially love the goal in that vid against Norwich, when at his best he is unstoppable...

All credit to Hunt as I said though, he has really been amazing this year and is by far the most improved player in a Reading shirt this season.

The commentator on the first goal against Milwall needs to be taken outside and pistol whipped. That goal deserves a better vocal accompaniment.

I dont understand why someone would slag Bobby off after what he did last season?? He was superb last year.

Don't think that was slagging him off. Simply pointing out that Bobby only plays really well when really fit.

I love Convey.

He is a class act. Hunt has done a great job, but he's no Convey.

Completely true...

When not fit he is pointless - He may be my favourite player but when not 100% there is no point even fielding him.

I wasn't slagging him off

Just pointing out that we're assuming he will get back to full fitness. Even when uninjured it took him ages (better part of 6months) to get match fitness to cope with English game. I can see it being a really long haul for him to get back.

Plus I heard a nasty rumour that RFC themselves are worry about his longterm fitness. Hope it aint true, but hey

Couldn't agree more. Hunt is often unable to control the ball first time, but Convey is always able to get it under straight away! However, I would say Hunt the quicker of the two.
