I hope so for his sake.

Other than that stick him in the reserves.

Did see on teletext that Wigan were preparing a 5 mill bid but that, having lost Doyle, Reading would be "fighting to keep
him " ... PLEASE GOD ... NO !

Stephen Hunt is definitely leaving the club with interest from Sunderland, Wigan and Everton.

Wouldn't mind if he stayed, wouldn't mind if he goes.

Whatevs.

Do you have a source or any evidence for such a definitive statement?

You mean to say he hasn't left yet  ? I thought that a move away was in the best interests of everyone? With the obvious execption of whoever stumps up the cash to buy him, of course.

Oh come on. Don't worry yourself. In the unlikely even that some minted fools offer £5m for Hunt we would bite their hands off. But we can hardly come out and say that, can we?

lazy reporting, as far as the media is concerned we no longer exist without Doyle and shunt as was shown by shunts place in the team of the season despite his woefull performances.
its a game all about hype and its this that makes me think he wont go to any good clubs because they will of looked at his attitude, and lack of basic footballing skills and gone for a Comparatively better player... like andy hughes!
i hope the little hobit sods off soon, just so we can use the money to sign someone decent whos head isnt inserted clearly up his own back door!

cabt agree with that- team of the season was voted for in feb wasnt it? when his prexmas form was still fresh in the memory, and that form was pretty awesome.

regarding attitude-people say he stopped playing after jan, but i didnt see that, i just saw a man who had alot on his mind, and maybe tried too hard to impress other teams, i doubt he did
it on purpose, as during that period he ran his socks off, tracked back alot. he tried alot of crosses, and to go past players, but none worked-that doesnt say to me a player who isnt bothered any more.

agree on the hoping the little hobbit goes soon bit though
as i still havent forgiven him for forcing bobby convey out of the side, until he was let go, then suddenly turningshit

When he shoves off, we can look forward to Smith/Robson-Kanu/Tabb/Kebe/New LM instead.
Yeah, I said Kebe. He was better than SHunt on the tail-end of last season.

He wont be playing even if he is still with us come the forest game - god forbid!!!! Rodgers knows he wouldnt get 100% and it would just disrupt the development of the team anyway. Not to mention lack of support from all of us. I dont want someone who thinks he is better than us after it was us that gave him everything in the first place, he didnt even try after xmas this year - funny how he finds his game when playinging in green :?: :?: .

Dont worry tho guys he is def off, there is no way he could stay now after slagging us off and openly declairing himself a wantaway from the club. God knows how but according to the newspapers in London he is wanted by Wigan, Sunderland, Stoke, Fulham, and Everton. Now I know some of those are probably bollocks but fear not, one of them will be silly enough to take him and he will be gone!

I wouldnt mind if he had earnt his place in the premiership like Doyler but he hasnt and as a result I oxfording hope he ends up at Scunthorpe,    now that would be funny!

Stephen Hunt is an excellent player with bags of talent and a very professional attitude. He would be a great asset to any club who could afford to make the best bid in the undoubted bidding frenzy & war that will be waged when the first club offers an amount that triggers his release clause. Even then I am sure (and I hope) that we will try to hang on to him, possibly by offering him higher wages, since whatever a club might pay, 5, 10 or even 15 million, they will get a bargain and he will be sorely missed if we can't hang on to him.

Just in case any scouts happen to do their research by looking at fan forums - we'll never get rid of SHunt if they read & believe all the negative posts about him in this thread...

Thats a fair assessment. to be honest the whole team was e after xmas and Doyle hardly set the world alight. how many goals did he score after xmas and didn't he have that long barren run without scoring the previous season. I guess with Hunt it is his perceived attitude and comments to the press that have wound people up
