Will S. Hunt be playing in the Forest game?

by Readingfanman » 07 Jul 2009 03:10

Yes or no?

What do you think?

Personally, I think he's still going to be at Reading, no matter how much he moans, noone is going to buy him, however, I think he may be relegated to the bench.

If he's here, fit and Rodgers thinks he's the best option on the left, he'll play. As with last year, it's in his interests as well as ours for him to put in good performances to put himself in the shop window.

He'll be gone by the time the window closes. But it might not be til the last day or so when it all gets desperate - both for him and some of the buying clubs.

Let's hope so - or even better, left to rot in the reserves.

Looks like he will still be here tbh at this rate. Want him to go though as he has already unsettled the squad enough.

To anyone with any sense at all, yes it is.

I think you may have to humour him.

So obvious that you can't give one snippet of evidence to back up your statement?

No, it's because as Avon said, to anyone with sense, it's obvious.

I know someone inside the club, and there have been plenty of occassions last year when his attitude was a problem.

The most recent was the way him and Kitson reacted to Church's call up to first team.

amazing evidence.

how can his unsettling effect on the club be clear to anyone with sense when RFC haven't played a game for 2 months? or is he just having an unsettling effect on our simpler fans.

although, that said, I can fully believe that he is walking round, being a prat and irritating people

Is this evidence of a disrupting influence??

Rodgers also expects want-away winger Stephen Hunt to have his future sorted in the next few weeks.

He added: “He’s someone who is emotionally moved from the club already.

“However he’s a professional and while he remains a Reading player he will train with us. I’ve spoken with him and understand his situation.”

I can't imagine having someone in the dressing room who has "emotionally moved" from the club is anything but disruptive!

I have also heard that before games Shunt used to go round and eat some of the players socks which was a major disruption.

If we get a decent month out of Hunt before his transfer then that would benefit everybody. His personal transfer prospects would improve, the club would get some good performances and the fans could have the biggest opportunity to boo somebody until Pardew gets back into management.

If the turd burgling hobbit is still with us, I expect som reasonable performances up to the end of August. If he doesn't leave in this window his performance will tail off. It will then pick up in December and January for obvious reasons. We all know what will happen if he doesnt move thereafter.

Thing is, if he is so desperate to leave why doesn't he buy himself out of his contract? He can then do us all a favour.

+1

But I think he'll be gone by the time we play Forest. Certainly by the end of the transfer window.

There have also been comments from the club about SHunts behaviour last season and his choice of agent, so the sooner the gypo rat is out of the club the better.
