Plymouth (H) 9.2.10 Score predictions.

Post hutch, 07 Feb 2010 08:50

What a massive, massive game this is. I think we`ll win this for 2 reasons. Firstly to pay Plymouth back for that absolute tonking they gave us at Home park recently, and secondly confidence is up and I think we`ll continue our recent good form.
2-1 to the royals, Long and Howard, either a free kick or a pen. Does anyone know when the Sig is back? Who will replace Mills? Will Khizanisvilli come straight in or will Brian Macca recall Pearce? What does anyone think?

Is Mills's ban one or two games?

Might he appeal?

Does it cut in straight away? If not play him.

If Mills is out bring in Kish, I'd say. An experienced Premiership/Celtic player who has played this season for Newcastle
versus a promising but slow kid? No brainer.

I dearly hope we win. Might even get out of the bottom 3.

I feel that we will either tonk them (maybe 3-0) or it'll be horrible and...

Thing is, a big win and we will really look to have turned the corner and "outside chance of sixth" will be the next silliness.

Tis what I want (the win) but I'm used to disappointment.

nah we'll win

Mills - 1 match immediate ban (i.e. Plymouth) unless he appeals (unlikely?). Would have been extra matches only if he'd got a straight red before but I think that's his 1st this season?

Anyway, I just hope we continue the pick-up and Home Park was the low point of the season. Ill be there so 2-0 (both in the North End goal) would be nice...

This'll be the most pumped up the fans have been for some time so hopefully that results in lots chants and getting behind the team. We'll need to be as Argyle has some great support.

I reckon 1-1 with us taking the lead first or 2-1 to us in the last 10 mins with goals from Church and Long. I have a feeling Church would be ideal for this game (if only as a super sub) especially against a bunch of slow defenders. That's also why Jobi REALLY needs to find his form again on Tuesday.

Come on urz!!!

For the first time this season, I saw us play with real confidence and what almost looked like a bit of a swagger last night. We only came under pressure after Mills was sent off. Otherwise... we could have scored more.

Tuesday night? Time for some of our players to fill their boots. 3-0 home win !

Time it all fell into place, we will wallop them by at least 4 goals. I hope we play either Rasiak or Thor, as they seem to struggle against height.

It's well worth an appeal technically, but given the whole system is shite, we'd only end up getting an extension. The ref got it wrong (understandably) and was overly harsh with his card even so IMO.

I struggle to see us winning three on the bounce... but if Sig is back (and one of Karacan or Gunnarsson is dropped for Howard) or Kebe is fit and McDermott plays the same system, I think we'll win.

3-0
McAnuff, Church, Gunnarsson or Sigurdsson.

We're dangerously close to giving ourselves a chance now and, to quote John Cleese's headmaster in Clockwise: it's not the It's not the despair,I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand.

Hoping for a vocal crowd to give the team some deserved vocal support and hoping for a barely conceivable third win on the trot.

2-2 :|

I think you will find that our Georgian played for the top club in Scotland, not Celtic.

We do make chances in matches and sooner or later we will convert a few. 2 wins on the trot, confidence up, time for a convincing home win.
5-0 !!

Hopefully the sack of cement, aka Pearce, will not be involved and Kish will be in for Mills. Will The Sig be back?

A big, BIG game. I may be going completely hatstand, but 3-1.
