AGM

by Sutekh » 24 Aug 2017 14:37

AGM is on 13th September but it's being held in the Victoria Room in Reading Town Hall. Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm.

There is a bar.

Members only, you can join on the night for £10.

Rumour is a tallish baldish Dutch gentleman will be in attendance once the AGM is over.

Are the club redecorating or using the Princess suite then or just charging you guys too much money to hire it?

By the way, any chance of getting Ron Gourlay and Brian Tevreden along to a forum at some point in the future? Be interesting to have a chat based more on football and club policies.

Thank you for banging my drum!

To answer your questions, put the first one down to a series of unfortunate events. There is a real chance of getting Ron along to the next forum in maybe November.

The car parking options include:
- The Oracle at £3.50
- Queen’s Road car park £3.50
- King's Meadow (Napier Road) and Hills Meadow (George St) are both free after 6 pm and about a 10 minute walk from town centre. King's Meadow is the one nearer town.
- King’s Road meter parking – 50p for 20 mins and free after 8pm.

I went as well.

A lot of views referencing years gone by - it felt like members are very stuck in their ways. Especially from the bloke leading the questions.. Thankfully his attempt at leading JS on certain questions about out support didn't get the answer it felt like he desired..

Of the star adult memberships - what is the breakdown of ages? Would I be right in thinking that 18-30 is under subscribed?

I really feel sorry for you. Do you actually think Jaap Stam/the club give the faintest shit what you think or have to say?

Why waste your time?

Not sure what your getting at mate, no one has mentioned anything about us giving him our opinions? He answers questions that members can pose to him, more openly than he does on the radio.. We were all given insights into things that isn't normally shared.

I won some competition last year so i needed to collect my prize. Hence my attendance. Otherwise I wouldn't bother as I live no where near Reading.
