Great BBCRB/Hobnob memories

I like that time we used to have reading players on and ask them silly questions.

A phone in one Friday evening when a caller calling himself Spacecruiser proposed on air to one of the panelists.

I know not actually employed by BBC Berks but whatever happened to Steve Beddow and Mark Gonnella from the days before we had a BBC Berks?

Also Jonathan Southall used to cover Reading in the early days of the station before moving off to watch a certain set of yellow shirted neighbours and then popping up regularly on the national scene. And, at one point, Berks used to cover Wycombe Wanderers.

Joel Hufford.

That was me.... SpaceCruiser's parents heard it and quizzed him about it.

She didn't say no though.

Steve was last heard of as Sky Sports golf commentator and I think Mark is now communications director at Arsenal
