Having looked at the transcript I don't think either BR or TD were massively out of order. I do agree that comparing Saturday to Palace is a little odd, but I think he just making a point. I.e. that he's sick of the club's (not just BR) Comical Ali-esque statements - building for the future, that it's just that 'wee bit' of extra up front or wherever on the pitch, or whatever else. If it's not working now then you need to worry. And just because we're playing well means f*ck all. Only thing that matters is killing the game off and getting all three points. Southampton played some excellent football last season and look what happened to them.

So they do reap what they sow. Just because everyone isn't in agreement with BR/the club it means they're not true supporters? That's boll*cks and, actually, the kind of tosh that one-party states usually come out with.

Wow, journalist upsets football manager shock. This stuff happens all the time, a more highly strung manager would have probably stormed out of the press conference.

They disagreed, end of story. Let's not forget BR is a Reading fan as well and I'm sure his emotions were running high after the game. Nobody needs to get sacked and I'm sure if there's a decent result this week they'll kiss and make up.

Has mentioned his affinity with the club on numerous occasions and almost certainly cares more than Mr Dellor. Gave up a secure job to come back here knowing that he would have to build a new team from scratch and will always be compared with his predecessor.

Why would he be a Chelsea fan?

He has been associated with the club since he was 15/16 and has grown up within it, Pardew just spent a few years in charge. He has worked in various parts of the club and most of his family over here have done the same, and some still are. The club has been one the cornerstones of Rodgers life

I dont think it really matters if he is or he isnt, but he is, so why have a go at him about it

RFC didn't even give themselves time to read HNA. What's more, what he said wasn't really that bad. IIRC it went along the lines of 'Some say we should forgive and forget but what we should never let him forget is what a great set of supporters he left behind - Come on You Royals!'
