WAZZOCK Who told you that? It's not the same as Swindon or Burnley's

He sounded confident too lol. He was certain it was the same collar. Which template is it? Wouldn't hurt letting on would it?

You can wait.

Kit photo shoot today. Apparently something futuristic with us again leading the way with kit launches.

Some comments from the players:

"Pretty unique"
"It's different, not what we're used to"
"I think it will surprise the fans"

So it'll be hideous then

They were referring to the launch itself.

Some of the Simod Cup winning side were also involved... Could it be an anniversary kit? Hope so!

Curo Gilksy and Williams were there too. I reckon it'll be a Elm Park to Madejski 20yrs kit or something to that effect.

Moore said it's something which interacts with fans and it's the way the world is going with social media. Whatever that means.

Unless they are making it with 4 arm holes or a built in bib to catch all the spit modern day players seem to want to get rid of then it is just a f***ing shirt. No amount of talking it up like they have designed a whole new combustion engine will make me think it will anything else but a shirt with some colours on.

Instead of player's names on the back it will be their twitter handles.

the integration of players names and faces within the shirt is an interesting concept - think this new shirt will appeal to young and old fans alike. Well played Reading FC.

heard that the hoops on each shirt join onto the hoops of another shirt, the players walk out at the start all joined together then break apart before kick off to minimal fanfare

I'm imagining the Kit strapped to a North Korean missile and fired off in the direction of Japan, with Kim Yong Un declaring us champions of the world, and the best team in North Korea. The Chinese influence over RFC and NK paying dividends for some great publicity.

Has Sporting's kit been released for next season yet? I've had a look but can't find it. I usually just want that but in blue instead of green, sadly it never happens.

That is perfect (from the front). Hoops all the way around and that is spot on.

Cheers! They always look epic although those hoops do need to go all the way around really.

So, 2017/18 - 20 years of football at madjeski, and 30 years since our Simon cup win. Hoping for a gold away kit for reference to the wembley win, and maybe a design that is similar to our 1st kit at the madjeski? Be nice if they did something other than the usual puma template.

Do they not normally announce the new kit ready for the pre-season tour?
