genome Some comments from the players:

"Pretty unique"
"It's different, not what we're used to"
"I think it will surprise the fans"

So it'll be hideous then

I remember Gareth Mcleary describing "African Violet" before the unveiling as "proper naughty" - so that's your guide.

Elm Park Kid Do they not normally announce the new kit ready for the pre-season tour?

Seeing as nobody is allowed watch them this pre-season, they don't need to!

There will no doubt be some photos from tomorrow's double header with QPR. Bubbly hoop bonanaza.

Similar to Reading's away kit - but the body is yellow on the Reading kit with the sleeves being dark and light blue.

It's actually pretty strange behaviour - every year to claim to be in the know and post loads of random kits that allegedly look similar, despite actually having no idea what the kit will look like. Like has Kes ever been even remotely close with a kit? I'm guessing he has with the whole infinite number of monkeys theory.

12th July and still no news as to what next season's kit is going to look like or even a launch date confirmed. Could you imagine Liverpool, Chelsea, ManU etc. operating like that

I guess that it's a statement of no intent

can't believe they are making an announcement about when the kit will be announced

Don't care that much, will happen when it happens. As long as they are on sale for first game of the season, be happy enough

of those, like Brentford's the best, though the sponsor is too dominant.

Middlesboro is my vote for the worst, with Sunderland closely behind (which is worrying considering its Puma) and Sheff Utd being sponsored by Teletext? Taking the retro thing a bit far

Not sure how Leeds' kit will go down with the average overweight supported either. Pretty much no adult outside a professional athlete could get away with wearing that kit

Why do you care so much? Are you a 14 year old girl? Do you actually wear the kit?

Alright I'll nibble. Personally I don't actually care, I'm just pointing out the apparent lack of organisation or communication and think the club are missing a marketing trick here by not having a reveal countdown or some other selling ploy to generate a demand and get clicks to their website etc.

They have been imaginative in the past and used excellent marketing ideas. Why is this year any different. You are almost out of control with this Sutekh. Take a deep breath or something.

No trick is missing. Literally zero footfall up at the club shop etc.....far better pacing it towards the start of the season and for fans like you eager to get your hands on a shirt you can also buy a ticket and watch the Carabao Cup match etc.
