2 club policies that have alienated me

by Big Foot » 06 Aug 2011 22:05

1) white back to the shirts - I notice Brighton have a "panel" on their shirt yet we can't? :x

2) having a winger as a captain is absolute mince

1) It's just a shirt! Also, why have you been checking out what the boys in Brighton are wearing this summer?

2) David Beckham

What did England ever win with Beckham as captain? (to help you, it's the same as we will win with Jobi as ours)

1. brighton and others have a panel, sunderland and others had stripes front and back last season. for some unknown reason the club just prefer to have a plain back. i don't like it, nor do i agree with it, but it really is only a shirt. deal with it.

2. you made that judgement based on 95 minutes of football. mcanuff had a fair game and you can't fault the team for their never say die attitude. i'm struggling to see what you're basing that opinion on.

Your posts annoy me almost as much as 1teaminberks... I have no idea why ;) but your non-capitalisation skills are very very annoying.

1. I like the plain backs
1a The club can never please everyone all the time
2. Who cares who the captain is as long as they are effective at the job

Was sitting in Y19 and the whole team looked like Swansea (except for the passing) when we were going forward. The kit is full white from behind.

I have to say, our shirts are certainly not "hooped" - hoops go right round shirley. :|

Prefer the captain to be down the spine of the team myself.

A captains role is not just during the 90mins. Its a season long job done day in day out at the training ground. Doesnt matter what position he plays. Theres been hundreds of successful captains that are goalkeepers or strikers (stuck up one end). Its all good :D

Me too, but I prefer him to be the best man for the job more. And McAnuff drifts a lot allowing him to be more involved than on just the wing.

1) Jobi is our captain deal with it and back him up, he's been a great player for us since he's been here

2) Yes we all want hoops and loads of people moan, but I bet most people secretly like it (as I do)
