New Website?

by Royal Rumbler » 30 Apr 2012 22:26

So do we all think/want a makeover to the Reading FC official site now we are back in the Prem?
Current one is very "Football League"! 8)

Agree, does look very generic. Would like something a bit different, especially since we're PL now.

No thanks....the new internet ticket booking introduced last year was worse than what we were using already.

P, a question... you often post a simple :| in reply to others posts - what exactly are you trying to express with your :| ? To me it means neutral (as its name suggests) but I take it you mean to imply something more unsatisfactory, no?

What he means is the website look and the ticketing system are slightly different.

That does help actually...but I am still puzzled by the use of the :| emoticon to express it. I guess I probably should seek the true meaning of the "neutral" emoticon elsewhere.

Good news, I hope it's as good as when they changed the ticketing system.

In the club survey I suggested getting rid of player and replacing them with some professionals that can encode video for the web properly. Along with all the complaining we've been doing, that the club will have seen on twitter hopefully they've got the message and we'll have a website suitable for the 21stC

Yeah, in the survey I slagged off their social network marketing policy. It's dire.

I actually quite like the twitter updates, a lot of useful information! If people don't like then surely they don't have to follow them?

It's fine when they're providing informative updates or whatever, but it's the "RT if you want three points tonight!" and "Let's see how many likes we can get!" as well as the far FAR too biased match reporting that is absolute drivel.

Least Fordham says we're playing shit when we are.
