S1A was the only thing left; regardless, should be good!

Is upper preferable?

I read that supporters requesting a more family-friendly atmosphere should select "lower rows". Whether or not this will be true on the day, time will tell. It only had "S1A lower rows" available when I went to book though so it must be all that's left. If you prefer an atmosphere it was advised to go higher, but it isn't an option anymore.

Good on the club for at least trying to give people a steer on this... I still can't abide the 'these are the seats i've paid for' attitude, when swapping a few rows with someone would solve the sitting/standing issue.

Bided my time until S1A higher became available.
Regarding families and 'sitters' in the higher rows - trouble is, those who have been to the Amex previously would know that a great swathe of the lower rows are actually uncovered and as this is 5:30 on a Sat night there is a good chance of getting soaked if it is raining, so they might opt for higher rows anyway?

So would they opt for the front rows if the game was a 3pm because there is less chance of it raining then?

I would assume the chances of getting soaked has no relevance to what time of day it is.

It's because it rains more on Saturday evenings in Brighton.

Maybe not - but I can bet its a damn sight colder if you are soaked early evening rather than afternoon.
Oh and by the way - any chance of giving a small piece of advice to help others without some troll trying to be 'clever' all the time?

Well you maybe should've used coldness in your first post, would have been in total agreement that night is colder than day.

Oh and troll - LOL. It was just a pedantic comment.

In all seriousness, people will sit where they want to sit. There will always be at any game pockets of people who want to sit in the upper rows because they want a better view, nothing to do with time/weather/anything else. You won't know until you actually take your seat at the game.

Thats strange, I selected S1B and got it.

I wonder if you seat will be on the aisle, so while selecting 1B , your actual seat will be the first seat in 1A, if that make sense?
