IceIceGylfi I read in some unofficial article about the ground that local train travel is included with your ticket price. I know this sounds like a dumb question but can anybody confirm this, and if so, which stations does this include? I would look it up but I have and haven't found anything official. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance :)

Yes, your match ticket includes free train travel from as far out as Worthing, Gatwick and Eastbourne. There is a more detailed plan on their website under Fans > Travel

Mmm, would rather not park on a verge next to a field, I don't mind an extra bit of driving/paying for a small train journey.

There was quite a few cars there but yeah fair enough each to their own. As someone who's avidly against both trains and paying for parking the verge seemed like a decent option.

As a local these days I can tell you that there's very limited room along there to actually park and the locals have it all tied up 2-3 hours early normally. Lewes would be my best advice and yes the 10 minute train journey is included in your ticket price. Some lovely pubs in Lewes too

Thanks for that! How does that work regarding the match ticket/train ticket? Do you just show it to the guard/ticket person to get through the barrier?

I will be IN for the game, waiting to hear from a couple of others to confirm before buying tickets.

Yes, your match ticket is effectively your train ticket. You can also travel in from further afield but only buy a ticket to an outlying station that is part of the travel plan. For example, you could pay to get a train to Gatwick after which the rest of the journey is covered by your match ticket

Reading have had their allocation increased for Brighton away to just over 2,000, having sold half of the initial 1,450 already.

Tickets bought in block S1B - the upper section. was a bit late booking due to chaos over car issues and doubts about affordability.

Only 2K? surely the club should have asked for more tickets considering its such a massive game and its only 90 minutes away?

Our past attendances at Brighton hardly merit it.

Plus we never travel that well to the smaller clubs like Brighton, Burton, Rotherham, etc...

Take a train from Brighton to Falmer which is right next to the ground. The cost of that journey is already included in your match ticket. Other options are on the Brighton web site under FANS > TRAVLE GUIDE but this is the easiest one.
