Royals-lad14 Only just over 400 sold for this... very disappointing considering our league position, where does the 12,000 core support go come a 2hr+ away trip? :roll:

Probably spending time with their family I guess.

I am 1 of the 27 going to Sheffield though. Proper fan me...

I think its more disappointing that we take 5000 to United two months ago yet we cannot take a 10th of that to a big championship game which is minimally further north and takes no longer to get to on a train.

Don't think I've ever seen us win at Preston in the 4 times I've been there, hoping that's gonna change on Sat.

We have never drawn, let alone won, a single away game I've gone to. For the good of the club, I am permanently abstaining.

Last year I did try to beat this curse by going (a) to the lowly MK Dons last season - you'll remember how that turned out - and (b) by going to a friendly against a lower ranked club - because surely that would be OK. Step forward, AFC Wimbledon.

I'm not doing this again....

I will be at both of these.

You are missing two big plus points to our poor away attendance;

1- You can stroll right up to the bar at half time, even go back for a second if you're quick
2- The players coming over at the end to clap is basically a personal thank you when there's so few of us

:D

Will do.

My girlfriend will be there as well but she can just watch or something, she doesn't have to join in if you don't want.

I think I'd rather she left us to it.
