Been round this before. Not for the first time in recent years, the fixture computer basically appears to have dropped a right ricket and scheduled both Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday to be at home on the same day.

For some wholly peculiar reason the current top side in Sheffield has elected, or been forced, to move the game to a Friday night rather than United moving their clash with Charlton.

Why Sunday wasn't chosen we shall never know as PL clubs will be playing so it can't be due to the following weekend's international break.

Wednesday have had loads of Friday night games recently. Why should they have to move all theirs and not United?

Not sure if anyone might be interested but I have a return train ticket for Sheffield on the Friday, coming back on the Sunday and can no longer go.
Cant get a refund on it due to the advanced single thing.

Anyone who wants it can have it.

Coming back on the Sunday might not be ideal but you never know.

depart 17th at 11.45
return 19th at 11.57

IN for 7. Would have taken several more S Yorks-based young Royals but £33 is pretty steep for a student aged 21 or over.

Am I right in thinking that is one of their lower prices too? Didn't they charge Aston Villa over £40 at the start of the season?

The tuna king is their owner, who came into the club and hiked up the prices immediately.

He is the cousin of our 50% shareholder Narin.

Disgraceful pricing. I was seriously thinking of not going. Instead, I am boycotting any further fixtures between us and them at Hillsborough.

Their grounds a pigsty anyway

Agree that the pricing is crap, but I much prefer away games at the older grounds rather than the modern identikit bowls a la madejski.
