I've got enough points to buy myself 1 ticket. Ideally i'd like to buy 2.

Do any of you lovely people have a spare member card with enough points for me to be able to buy 2 today? I know it's a longshot.

You will be compensated with beer if I see you on the day. Thannnksssss

I wanted block 113 cos it was raucous for the Arsenal game

Got given right at the front at first, so kept redoing my order as it filled up until I got row 23 out of 25 8)

Greatwesternline Two tickets bought.

Singing section.

What section is that?

Have you read the Reading website?
Singing Area: We would encourage supporters who want to make the most noise to book their place in Blocks 109 to 114.

Does anyone know how you find out how many Royalty points you have? Can't find anything on the official site about that. I mean how do people actually know?

I've emailed the club but they seem too busy to worry about piffling things like fans knowing when they can buy tickets.

Maneki Neko
double d Everybody I know is going for the 64 quid ticket and I can't really be bothered in parting with that sort of money for a game of football, so I'm just going the cheaper end of the tickets by myself. anybody else going solo or not?

theres a few rows of the cheaper seats at pitch level in front of the 109-114 blocks

We were row 1 for the Arsenal game, just to the left of the post. Good view of the goal mouth action in front of you, but difficult for distance perception for things at the far end.

IN. Annoying system though. Puts up a big button on left saying buy tickets which you press only for the system to then tell you to prove you're not a robot and you have to reselect everything again and scroll down to the bottom and click continue.

And Block 103 would appear to be already sold out as it disappeared from selection list while I was buying.

Maneki Neko
TBM Well that was easy :D

agreed

though it could have been clearer

Yep, systems worked well but not the easiest to navigate, find the right section and then checkout. Clicked continue, nothing happened and then had to click purchase twice and confirm not a bot (at least that was pictures, rather than the impossible to decipher scrambled text - is that the US or UK meaning of 'apartment'?! - would have been incredibly stressful to have got the text wrong and timed out!).

Even though there appears to be loads of time, the ticking down clock adds an element of excitement/stress to the process - what if my card details don't go through, what it my bank bounces it etc!

Tried thinking what my lucky block would be and then remembered disastrous start v Swansea and Feds' tragic error! I don't have a lucky block at Wembley, only unlucky ones. :(

F&ck superstition - it only counts if people believe that crap. Let's take on the world - despised by the media & football world, unlucky third, unlucky dressing room, unlucky away kit, unlucky underpants, unlucky pub, unlucky pre-match meal, flattened black cat, then being devoured by single magpie on way to station, underneath ladder at station entrance, walking on wrong paving stones/cracks, wrong way down stairs............... Under Jaap we can beat them all :D

Block 114 (for example) - tickets here are available in category 3 and category 4 - What's the difference? Anyone know? - The seating plans don't distinguish between the two.

I would guess the more expensive ones are the ones in the upper level 1 rather than down by the touchline.

Category 4 is the front 10 rows or so.

I have booked my tickets. We'll be in block 122 near the halfway line.

The only downer is that my Mum is coming to the game. That has taken alot of the shine off it to be honest. The last time she came to a game, it was the Play Off final of 95 against Bolton and she was laughing at all of us after we had lost. She always takes great pleasure in people's misfortune. That game meant so much to me as well.

RoyalBlue In for 3 in Block 110.

Anyone still care to defend the 'thieving barstewards'? On top of the £2.40 per ticket booking fee and the inflated postage costs they also spring a £6.50 transaction charge on you!

My transaction fee was a mere £2.25 (4 tickets, mastercard)

But yeah, that's £11.85 on top of some pretty bloody expensive tickets

Yeah loads of websites say no to Amex but yes to Paypal.....I imagine Paypal are taking the hit there.

Or Amex being a massive US company and Paypal also US they may have some sort of agreement i dare say
