Brum Royal Also, my thinking with this block by block approach is that by doing it this way, if one team doesn't sell as many they can reallocate the unsold blocks to the other team for them to sell if the demand is there, rather than have several half empty blocks at both ends.

I think it's to do with TV coverage. They want the stadium to look rammed. Any unsold blocks (I don't think either side will sell out) will be out of view

Think we've passed that comfortably.
Was that attendance impacted by their feud with the owner ?

I remember snooping on Wednesday's forum leading up to the final last year, they were livid about not having the Hull spare's handed over, which when you see that whole section of the top tier empty you can see there point.

I guess it boils down to not allowing one team to feel that they are playing an away game at Wembley due to inferior fanbase.

It's Wednesdays fault for being so MASSIVE at the end of the day, rotherham and barnsley are always recruiting new fans!

Looks a bit like when we had 35,000 fans at Cardiff to Walsall's 15,000

Weren't Man City allowed about 75% of Wembley for the 2013 FA Cup final, against Wigan? It may have only been because Wigan knew they wouldn't sell 30,000 tickets (or whatever) before the tickets went of sale though. Also, it may be an EFL thing to not hand over spares.

A lot will book over the weekend.

It's going to sell out. 10,000 in over a week when 28000 were sold in a couple of days.

It'll be 32000 by the end of Saturday.

Huddersfield have already shifted 20,000 in one day, so should be a sell out

They are like we were for the Bolton final. Completely unexpected let's make the most of it sort of thing.

Not a Bertie big bollocks post and we didn't expect this this season either but we've been twice in 5 years so not so much of a novelty.

I think they'll peak at 28000. Smaller town and less hangers on.

If we sell 700 a day from now well sell out. Sales will be big this weekend and will pick up from Thursday again I would think.

Yea makes sense. Fair play to them.

There's a decent amount of mutual respect here. I'm guessing Huddersfield experience similar stuff to us from so called bigger clubs.

So glad it's us and them in the final

Bit confused.

If i'm buying for 2 members and a non member do I put the customer numbers + surname in for the members and then buy 3 tickets when I select which block I want?

Can't select the block I want so is it worth waiting until tomorrow, or would that be too late?

Think of it that you are buying 2 for one member (so put one set of details in twice).

Pot luck on blocks but if I were you I'd buy and know I had tickets unless they are only offering completely unacceptable options.

Their brackets were different to ours - I think all members could buy today. Interestingly their "Phase 2" is General Sale, which starts on Sunday

Still, impressive numbers for two tinpot clubs
