TBM
The Informant
TBM I don't go to football to listen to people sing (i find it rather odd that grown men stand singing songs tbh) and i don't go to football to listen to drums being banged.

Can't we just go and enjoy a game of football - why the need for anything other than some cheering and clapping?!

bobby1413 I agree with something someone on Twitter said:

A drummer isn't necessarily a bad thing. Tons of clubs use it to great effect

+ 1

There have been some important occasions when ours has managed to raise the majority of our crowd from their slumbers to provide the team with some much needed backing.

What about Cheerleaders like Palace have - I'd happily welcome these girls into the club:

I'm with Bobby. Unfortunately ours was gash but they can be used by lots of clubs really effectively.

Celctic are good, huddersfied was good this season too.

Pretty sure Motherwell were the original since I was young - don't hold me to that.

The problem with being a drummer is that you probably damage your hearing and go deaf, This does not help when it comes to hearing chants/songs that others are singing and as a result you bang bang bang at the wrong time. The sensible drummer would have earplugs to protect their ears but that makes it even harder to listen to the crowd.

They're banging one drum occasionally every two weeks (with a soft-headed drumstick at that), not sitting in front of Black Sabbath's stack at Knebworth for 10 years. It's not going to make a blind bit of difference to their hearing. It's nowhere near loud enough.

The drummers played at the wrong time because they were bloody useless. They couldn't even pick out the right kind of drum to use.

I want to see Animal from The Muppets up there from next season.

Our drummer could have been worse!

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/atlanta-united-ultras-arguably-produce-9927838

However, before anyone takes the p too much, Atlanta Utd have sold over 30,000 season tickets and are averaging crowds close to 50,000 in their first season. Their fans' musical and vocal support is now equally impressive.
