Further Information

Tickets booked online or by phone up until 3pm on Thursday 24th August 2017 will be posted.
Supporters booking online are asked to ensure that the age bands associated to each individual supporter are correct prior to processing your order. Checks of these will be made before the club sends you your tickets.
Tickets have been split between higher and lower rows, to give supporters more choice online and over the phone. Supporters that are looking to stand for the duration of the game will be asked to take seats within the higher section, so supporters that would prefer to sit should have a clear view of the pitch, if they select the lower rows.
We advise that supporters using concession tickets carry photographic identification confirming their date of birth, in case a member of staff requests to see this on the matchday.
Reading Football Club reserves the right to advise the hosting club if any supporter is believed to be in the possession of a concession ticket to which they are not entitled, which may result in the ticket being blocked and entry denied.

Ugh man £50 for a return train ticket, I hate public transport. It feels like if I want to go to more away games travelling to Reading then going up by coach would be far more financially prudent.

You get a return RDG - Banbury, and a return Banbury - Brum but stay on the same train. It works out cheaper than a direct ticket.

Groupsave is 30% off if 3 or more of you travel together.

Std is £55, split gets that to £28, groupsave gets that to under £20

That's pretty good, is there an easy way to find this out? I would be starting from Fleet so I don't know if it might be somewhat different.

In that case buy Fleet- Reading return, Reading to Banbury return and Banbury to Birmingham return.
what you have to do is make sure you buy tickets for the right train -so that the seat reservations are for the right train.
ie Reading to Banbury 10.15 arr 10.56 Banbury 10.57 birmingham NS 11.48
Birm 18.04 Banbury 18.54 Banbury 18.55 Reading 19.41

You also need to be sure that the train you are on does stop at Banbury, not just pass through.

Absolutely wonderful stuff. If you pack your own sandwiches and pick up some tins I think it could be done for under £50! Have a good one!

I think that timing is quite optimistic, I'd of said 30mins, but there's a couple of decent pubs you can stop off at on the way.

10 mins if you're Mo Farah maybe . . . .

It's a 'good' half hour. But John is right, don't take a bus or taxi as the traffic makes it pointless. Find a pub to stop at.
