Mr Udagawa
UpThePrem Left it too late and hadn't realised they've sold out so if anyone has any spare or can't go, I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands. Need 3 but 2 will be OK.

Might have 1 spare child ticket in the seats. will know by the end of this week. its sat with me and Warfield North stand and his boys.

I'll let you know, mate.

Using your ticket as well as Ollie's. Sorted with WNS. Thanks

I'm told by someone who should know that whilst you might get to Paddington by train for the game you won't get back any further than Maidenhead.
Hence the interest in going via Waterloo - which is also disrupted and liable to be overcrowded.
Advice is to check it out yourself.

So you are saying the 1000s of people coming out of Paddington on a Saturday can`t get further than Maidenhead?
I`m calling BS on this.
And FYI you don`t go via Waterloo, you change at Staines.

Would you care to share a URL link on this?. I`ve been to the GWR site and can`t see anything of the sort. yes there will be severe disruption, but what about the passengers travelling to Wales and the west country?

Looks like anyone going further west gets a bus from Reading to Swindon and gets on the train there.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday – From approximately 1400 Saturday, all day Sunday and until 0200 Monday, there will be no GWR
trains running through Reading station. High speed services to/from London Paddington will be diverted via alternative routes. Buses will
replace trains for local journeys between Maidenhead and Reading, Reading and Didcot Parkway, Reading and Basingstoke and Reading
and Theale. All long-distance services on other routes will be altered as a result of this work.

Can't you just go Reading->Virginia Water->Brentford

and back again?

Yep, exactly what we're doing. £12 return. Sorted.

I`m pre-booked Reading-Staines-Brentford. Thinking twice about going now tbh, likely to be hectic.

I was wondering what the big issue seems to be then. I've seen tons of tweets now saying about Railway disruption and fans not sure how to get there.

I wasn't sure whether I was missing something

I think the point is that the Reading to Waterloo line will be far busier than normal because of the Paddington line disruption. Makes no difference to me as I am getting on at Bracknell anyway so will always go Waterloo line, just expect it to be very busy

I did think that but it's just insignificant. I travel from Bracknell and last season used the line to get to Arsenal when Paddington shut at last minute. I've also used the line every other week when Twickenham have a match and it's rammed, and throw into that Ascot too and it's standing room only.

I don't really get it - it's busy... just stand up, drink your beer and get on with it

Just a word of warning - the game two years ago (African Violet kit) there was a rugby match on at Twickers and the train was so busy (with chino-ed, Old Speckled Hen-drinking-tossers) people couldn't get on after Winnersh Triangle.
