WAZZOCK I don't get this trend of thought that 'there should be a discount after last season'.

+1, if we had gone down, then, yes a discount would've been needed. But we didn't so happy to pay the same/+£25 extra this year. It is still really good value.

TheLawnMowerMan Renewed.
Not really sure why. I have a busy life.
£30 more than last year. Upper West Renewal.
20th year as STH.
There should have been a discount after last season - next may be my last.

Bit of a weird lie

Unless you were calling for price increases when we’ve finished in the top half of the league / got promoted, you can’t be calling for a discount.

Like many others I feel like the club have done a great job on pricing and related initiatives now for a number of seasons.

Echo the sentiments of those supporting the ticket prices, I will add that I can understand the concerns of those, myself included, who have actually ended up paying more this season due to the lack of an early renewal saving, that said, we are still one of, if not, the lowest season tickets in the division, as well as one of the lowest for matchday tickets.

Echo that our tickets are excellent value. There are League Two clubs who don't charge much less than we do ffs.

After signing Yiadom I'm almost back on the bandwagon. Now if we can just flog Gunter next week I'd buy in a heartbeat.

...and £10 more than I will pay. It would cost me more to pay for ST’s for me and my lad to watch my local team Cheltenham Town than it costs to watch Reading. I checked out Bristol City’s ST prices and they are miles more than what we pay,

I don't think season ticket prices are unreasonable but it would be nice if the club could offer some non-fleecing payment plans. For example - an adult East Stand could be £75 deposit then £100 on 1 September, December and March. It can't be that hard to administer.

You’d be surprised at how time consuming it can be and the cost associated with it. There is a reason outside finance companies are used.

The payment plan they have is perfectly reasonable. Do you not think they would do it in-house if they could?

+1 to the payment plan. Very good structure. I am fine for them to outsource it.

If the club were to operate their own finance plan I'm pretty sure they would have to apply for a license to become a registered credit broker, with all of the cost of proving and maintaining compliance that entails.

Is there a renewal deadline? - Can't seem to see one on the website, Obviously keen to keep hold of my money as long as possible

edit: found it under the PURLs icon (Personal URL, if anyone was wondering) - Season ticket holders can access their specific PURL, visit www.rg2moments.com and log in using your Member ID and surname.

Deadline is 5pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

I work for a business that is regulated by the FCA and I have to deal with them regularly as I work in finance. It isn't just the cost that is an issue it is the time and frustration of having to deal with the people they employ. The FCA handbook is a real piece of work.......

I was at Dagenham & Redbridge a few months ago and I think the sign said £19 to stand on the terrace :|

In comparison, despite losing the bird and forking out a record £450 to renew, this amounts to £19.57 per match in the Upper West.

Heard a rumour over the weekend (a friend of a friend etc) that Trading Standards have had enough complaints about RFC's "price freeze" and lack of last season's early bird discount that they've opened an investigation...
