Bolton Wanderers (h)

by John Smith » 02 Mar 2018 12:22

Just seen the club are doing another fantastic Season Ticket Tuesdays for this one, there making tickets:

£10 for Adults
£5 Concessions

If that doesn't get a few thousand more through the gates and buy us a win I don't know what will. Fair play to the club.

No it doesn't. Where have you got that from? Birmingham and Sheffield United were full price.

It does apply every-mid week game - straight from the website

‘Season Ticket Tuesday’ will see the club present special ticket offers to our most loyal supporters for every midweek league game at the Madejski.

The cut-off time to take advantage of this offer is 5pm on Tuesday 6th March 2018.

It has applied to all midweek games this season with the exception of the Sheffield United game which was originally a Saturday game.

Don't get your point, John, regardless of price, mate. Why would people give up their views of what's being served up for the sake of a few quid? I know the Bolt-on game is an important one in terms of result, can't quite see through Stam's management and the players' performances, at the moment, though. Regardless of there being a few extra hundred on the gate. Be very surprised if it's thousands.

I was completely oblivious to this midweek deal. in which case maybe it's been promoted poorly?

Yes, my point is that this is a crucial game and most proper fans would have gone anyway but it's even better that it's cheaper. Ticket Office was closed Friday so I've just booked mine and there's only really single seats left in the East apparently so I'd certainly think it would be thousands more than the Sheff United game at least.

Couldn't go last night. Mind you, listening to second 'arf commentary, just as well. As for the stated attendance, it's been mentioned that many times on Radio Berks. And the fact that the Marchin' On Together crew will bring 4k towards Saturday's gate.

I feel sorry for the club. 2nd tier football for a tenner on a regular basis throughout the season and we draw lower-table League 1 gates. Appalling, embarassing...tinpot?.
