Old Man Andrews I am in the South Stand again Saturday, willing to give it another go.

Be great if you and DD where sat next to each other.

Got a feeling he might be in a different section of the stand if you know what I mean.

I am standing in the disabled section acting as Ian's carer for the day.

Are you implying Ian is disabled and that there is something wrong with that if he is? Wow. Reverting to type again.

That even reads as sarcastic.... nice try.

I wouldn't say there is anything wrong with disabilities at all because there isn't. I have somebody with down syndrome in my family.

By assuming I am implying that, that means you think there is something wrong with it? Reverting to type again.

I was implying that I was doing a good thing by taking care of somebody at a football game who needs assistance.

You replied to me so you must have some interest in talking to me John. I will block you and Ian again. It was better last week when I did that.

TTYL Come say Hi Saturday.

Today marks 1 year of Club 1871, and they've gone from 52 people in the first game to regularly getting 4 to 500, not bad.

It was always going to be a slow burner of a project.

Maybe in another year we can get 5000 in club 1871. I am going in tomorrow and will see if I will become a fully fledged member.

They have done a great job. Other clubs are taking note. Atmosphere improved ten fold. They just need to keep remembering it’s about the atmosphere and not to goad away fans.

Agreed on the whole.

But banter with away fans is fine, and part of the atmosphere, along as it doesn't cross a line.

Feedback from the players is that the atmosphere in all areas of the ground has greatly improved in recent months.

Regarding C1871, the players feel the noise can be improved even more so if the fans stand closer to the pitch, so with that in mind, the C1871 flag/banner has been moved to the top of the stand for Brentford.

Ticket sales in the South Stand are going well. 600+ expected this Saturday.

If you’d like to swap your season ticket seat for this game, or all remaining home games, or buy a ticket for these games respectively, please call the Ticket Office today.

Given the entire South Stand capacity is 4,350 that might be a challenge.

A pretty easily met challenge though. Plenty of ways you could find room for another few thousand in the ground.

That's a lot of grumpy East Stand STHs to relocate against their will.

Might be worth it though, OMA, DD and co might expire from apoplectic fury at that many people having the wrong fun and ruining their experience

No need to relocate anyone.
The aim must be to get everyone feeling part of club1871. No reason it needs to be restricted to half of one stand isn’t there ?
Either end of the East could be 1871 outposts.
Lots of possibilities....
