Reading Vs Oxford

by Jagermesiter1871 » 27 Sep 2023 16:28

When will we find out if this fixture is going to be postponed? And if it is, when will it be moved to?

Think there was another game which was confirmed as being moved yesterday, so would imagine it will be this week. I know oxf*rd have sold a bunch of tickets, so probably just working out best dates to mitigate that, as well as finding the right date for footballing reasons.

That's what I was thinking. Surely would have to be made official any day now but wouldn't expect anything less than the club being the last to announce it. Are we certain it will be moved? Do we have enough international players?

Or do Oxford?

Was planning on taking my boy and 6 of his mates to this for his bday (what a present eh?) but now in limbo having already told the other parents....

This game definitely doesn't go ahead on it's current date. 10/12 League 1 matches were postponed during the last international break.

Bindon has been already.

Expect Ballard (England U21) Mbengue, Savage (Wales U21), Elliot (can't remember where) that's without thinking.

What's the minimum amount that would need to be called up for it to be moved?

3 or more to have It postponed.

Looks like oxf*rd had 6 called up last time.

It's looking increasingly odd that League 1 doesn't respect the international break, seeing as it ends up doing so anyway

TVOB will be delighted at this being moved to a cold Tuesday night in February.

So we think this one's off?

When can we expect official confirmation?

When the international squads start getting named which I would presume will be the week after next week.
