What's the point if it just gets removed come the end of the season?

Now if it stayed on there for all eternity, then it might be worth having.

I read somewhere that a club were selling fans the freehold to their seats (can't remember which, though). Not a bad idea, I thought.

Got my vouchers today.
The Plaque is yet another money making scheme from RFC.

Got mine today with this crap about a plaque. £20, using the income to invest in the future of the club :? Like the ST money will go to buying new players  Total waste of £20, I could print on off and stick it on my seat myself, RFC are having no more of my money.

Which of course is your choice, others may choose to spend the £20 and be happy with their purchase. The club is trying to maximise revenue, only time will tell if there is a demand for it. But why moan about it, you don't have to buy it.

Theatres have done for for some time, if folk want to pay thats up to them, I doubt the club will make much, assume they need bolting on, so fitting will cost, it will also leave holes in the back of the seat, on removal.

It might be worth it if it meant that no one else used my seat at London Irish games and concerts

Gesture of goodwill my arse! They can keep their plaque at the end of the season so we can sell them a replacement for £30 the following season.

The seats are uncomfortable enough as it is. I don't like the idea of a plaque + 2 bolts digging into my back.

Got the form through yesterday. Did anyone else notice the name the club used as an example. It's a solid, gritty, football name ... wait for it ... Sebastian Pilgrim-Tosspot.

The club have e-mailed me with confirmation of my season ticket, money is leaving my account, but I've received nothing in the post with regard letters, vouchers etc. they said I would get something at end of week before last.

This is what they said:-

We are waiting until all the new season ticket applications have been processed and will then be sending out confirmation letters to all season ticket holders. These letters will include a £5 voucher redeemable against the purchase of a new home shirt and a voucher to be exchanged in the megastore for the yearbook. You should receive your confirmation letter by the end of next week.

Dated:28th July
