Online Shop Postage

by RFCUK » 23 Jan 2010 21:31

Sorry if this had already been brought up, but just incase it hasn't...

Seeing as the rep. shirts are 50% off, I've opted to purchased one. I've got two addresses saved on the website, one in London and one in Nottingham. Why exactly, is Royal Mail postage £4 to London and £7.50 up to Nottingham, even though it's the same price wherever you post it to in the country? The shirt is costing me £12.50 and the postage is £7.50. How is that right exactly?

I ordered a load of stuff from the web site including a half price replica shirt and postage to Bedfordshire cost £6 and it was sent by CityLink.

Yep same for me when i ordered a few bits last week and that was to Wirral as well so thought £6 was reasonable especially as it came within 2 days.

I live in london and last week I tried to order a pair of shorts and two pairs of socks and they tried to charge me £7.50! I waited until the Burnley game and bought them in the shop.

But worth looking at for that sultry picture of Noel Hunt pouting over his shoulder in the away kit.

LoL

I'd be quite happy to pay more for postage if it kept the pcunts at Royal Mail out of the transaction.
