I thought it was a penalty.

If the arm is considered to be in an unnatural position when contact is made with the ball then it passes for deliberate, yes?

He jumped with his arm up and half forwards in front of his face / head - like it or not, and looking at the picture below there really shouldn't be any argument about this, that is not a natural position for a defender to be in. In fact it's just a pathetically naive challenge for anyone to make when fighting for an aerial ball in the penalty area.

As for Muller, I substituted him INTO my Dream Team entry last night thinking he can't be shit again, but Jeez, he was worse than ever. I was stunned to see that he gained me 3 points by being a 7+ rated player!!!

Possibly two of the least deserving finalists, it is hard to generate any real enthusiasm for tonights game.

I am holidaying in a pork-an-cheese suburb next month....so reluctantly, and just for the "good-time feeling" that might still be going on when I get there........I'll have to go for Ronaldo's own personal team :x

Maybe, well, and agreed, but as the host nation they didn't need gift penalties like they got the other night.

They've blown very hot and cold for me. Quite a lot of dross in amongst short periods of looking good when they're big players have turned up.

This could be four or five to the French if Portugal keep going like this.

France...

Played 6, won 5, scored 13, conceded 4.

I dare say quite a few teams wish they could be that mediocre.

Sad to see the great man go off. Even sadder when you think a dirty little tax cheat, who sends poison texts to his manager from the back of the team coach and bullies people in front of their wife and kids gets more respect than him.

You want the best players to play in finals not be struck down with injury.
