Croatia have played some great football at times. Among the best jn the whole WC.

I was going to ask how they needed ET to get through the last 3 games when they can play like this...…..but then you notice they've conceded 4

Just such a shame those first 2 goals shouldn't have happened.

France missed a hatful in the second half.

Croatia excellent, technically. Perhaps needed a better goalie.

Lolloris, Courtois or Pickford would have saved a couple of those

Congratulations!
I think they were the most convincing team throughout.

.....and as it comes to a close, the whole event has been a decent 7/10 for me....(and a shoe-in for anyone wanting to start a poll thread)

Didn't Manzucic get rugby tackled in the area by Pogba.....could have been 2-2 before half time....bitterly disappointed. Seems that if the French can't rig the draw like they did in 98 then they can at least rig the VAR.

only had £100 tied-up in the result

That aside, the ref was always going to make sure that France won today

A couple of cracking goals from France could not paper over the injustice of their 2 goal head-start. The ref got those wrong.

A decent enough game other than that...credit to a nation that is a quarter of the size of London....reins our defeat to them. in a bit too.
