Sutekh Have to say I’m hoping Mexico will get something against Sweden. And that is the game that should be shown live on the telly visual box rather than Germany’s likely comfortable win against an indifferent Korea. Although, IMO, they should switch between the two depending on how things develop.

That said, 1-0 wins for both Germany and Sweden would be hilarious.

That will see Germany out as a result of the red card last night. Unless there is a straight red in the Sweden-Mexico game.

2-0. Game over. A wonderful finish by Falcao. I said before the start of the World Cup that the team I would like to avoid in the last 16 was Colombia.

Colombia are class. We need to avoid them at all costs.

Totally fitting that James had the last touch of the game. What a performance.

Pah, no point fearing anyone, if we want to progress far, or really gain the experience to target Qatar for the win as is the stated goal, we need to test ourselves against quality sides in the knockout stages, rather than fake it with an easy draw.

Columbia will certainly pose a big threat on the break, particularly if we play as attacking a side as we did against Tunisia or Panama, but we'll pose plenty of threat from set pieces and the break ourselves.

I don't think anyone has really stood out, which has been why it's been a good tournament

Colombia were great to watch last night but I think a lot was down to Poland just not being arsed with it all.

Russia have been the team who have surprised me the most.
