Sanguiners, are you capable of holding a conversation with someone without sounding snarky and disdainful?

You're worse than Ian Royal

Perfectly capable. Playing the victim is pointless. I asked you a question - you don't have to answer it.

It was just an observation, nothing more. If it truly didn't matter, you didn't need to bulldoze your way into the thread to pick me up on it.

Unless you enjoy doing that. I feel like you do.

I didn't bulldoze anything, I just asked you a question.
You're basically complaining because people aren't slagging Liverpool off on Talksport, which is a bit bizarre.

And yes you're right, you're really sensitive and it's funny.

It was an observation that Tottenham got more critical coverage than Liverpool which I personally found odd, considering their defeat was arguably "worse". It's not a complaint, you just took it that way.

I'm just not sure what the whole haughty demeanour is about, it's always puzzled me.

Nah, last two games teams have set up very well to combat their style of play. If they fail to pick up 6 points from their next two (Huddersfield & Cardiff) then might show they are tailing off.

Having played Spurs, Chelsea and City in this run of games between the international breaks - think they will be very happy to be undefeated and where they are.

Felt for Jesus a bit. He came on and immediately looked the most threatening attacking player on the pitch, had a decent penalty shout turned down, and then gets stopped from taking the subsequent penalty awarded.

Both of them have a fairly poor record on pens, Aguero isn't brilliant either for the record. I would have thought somone cool and collected should take their pens, think Fernandinho would be a good choice in that situation.

Not sure there has ever been anything "secret" about either sanguine or the fox and how they feel about the super reds.
BTW if that was "burnt out" I think most of the teams in the Premier League would like to be that burnt out.
A really interesting game yesterday between the two top teams in the country where both managers were both content knowing that whichever team finishes above their own is likely to be champions.
Meanwhile the has-been club a few miles east with a has-been manager languish just above mid-table with their main ambition presumably to get a Europa League spot.
Still early days of course but if I were a betting man...............................................

I don't think Liverpool will be too worried. They've come through a slightly silly run of games (Spurs, PSG, Napoli, Chelsea and Man City), with just one defeat. In between they disposed comfortably of Southampton. Sure, they'd have liked a couple more 5-0 wins, or for Salah to have a goal a game, but perspective says that this time last season the PL title already looked out of reach (they only won 3 of their first 9, culminating in losing 4-1 to Spurs at Wembley).

Next 7 includes Huddersfield, Cardiff, Fulham, Watford and Red Star Belgrade twice, sandwiching a trip to Arsenal. We'll see but I'd venture they don't look so 'tired' then.

And the defence has improve immeasurably. No away team has scored in the league at Anfield since 24th Feb.
