6ft Kerplunk Loving the outrage. Reigning champions sack the manager of the year. Yeah that's not happened since way back in, er, last season.

TBF we knew Chelsea were pcunts already

And there's a slight difference between the arsehole Mourinho doing an awful dusruptive job and the gentleman Ranieri getting knifed in the back by players. Plus obviously Chelsea winning the League qas a far smaller achievement just as Chelsea being midtable was a far bigger disappointment.

Something needs to break player power and soon. This decision is obscene. The players who met with the club should have been sacked, not Ranieri.

A manager taking a team like Leicester to the title is a hugely different achievement than a manager winning the league with one of the title favourites.

Why don't you make some score cards for diving in case you ever play us again.

I wonder if he looks back and thinks about what might have been at Reading.
He managed to do what Stam is trying to do now at the back and the miracle was turning players like Steve Richardson into a passer rather than just a "clear it" type of defender.
The difference between his and Stam's time is that we were a quick passing side going forward (that may of course come with Stam's style in time) and , along with Jack Mansell's short term,it was for me just about the most enjoyable period ever of watching RFC.

I always quite liked the bloke but as a club manager he has had few successes.
Isn't he still the no.2 for the Scotland team?
If so, he will still be in work and if nothing else from a Reading point of view he made Madjeski aware that a new ground was essential for our progress and the club's longer term successes have partly been down to his influence IMHO.

Says it all that his 3 1/2 years at Reading is the longest he's stayed in any managerial job and Millwall aside, he's not come anywhere near replicating that success in the subsequent 23 years.

His footballing philosophy was pretty sound so I've no idea where it's gone wrong. Maybe he's just a colossal prick.

I think you could be on to something here. I know someone involved with Aberdeen and we were having a general discussion around meeting your heroes, and MM was mentioned in this vein and he very firmly fitted in to this, being described as an absolute arrogant helmet of a human being.

Said it before but under Mcgee that was the best football I have ever seen from a Reading FC team - we were absolutely amazing and were destroying teams with just fantastic football.

With so much evidence in your posts it's hard to come up with any other conclusion

Arrogant and easily rattled it would seem. Not a great combination when you're managing people.

Rumour from an Evertonian....

Enrique to leave Barcelona
Koeman to leave Everton for Barcelona
Wenger to team up with David Dein at Everton next season
