Winston Biscuit I don't like how managers reputations are trashed so quickly having previously done a good job.

Moyes did a very decent job at Everton for 10 years. His work at Utd was also no disaster as other managers since have shown.

In the case of Moyes did he really do such a good job at Everton?
IIRC there were some seasons where they finished in the lower reaches.

he was a bit wobbly in the second season finishing 17th

from 06-13th average league position (about) 6th

Liverpool averaged about 5th during the same period

just to give a baseline

Alsoo, when he was at Everton, Bill Kenwright was the owner and his transfer budget was tiny in comparison to many clubs.

The only season their net spend under Moyes was over £10m was the season after they sold Rooney.

He bought well. For example, he bought Lescott for £5m, sold him a year later for £24m and bought Howard, Baines and Jagielka with the proceeds.

sputnik Coleman off to Sunderland

Well Reading were already down to lose at Sunderland anyway, seeing that Sunderland haven't won a home game is god knows how long, so Coleman and his new manager impetus won't make too much difference to that.

Winston Biscuit Pulis sacked

No surprise. You can live with Pulisball when it is winning games but when it goes wrong it must be depressing to watch. Just 29pts from the 31 games played in 2017 apparently.

in the past I would have said Allardyce could step in and do the rescue job but didn't he recently say he is done with that role?

Interestingly* on MOTD they said that Pulis is the kind of manager you'd want to come in and save your season, so maybe the Baggies wil replace him with himself?

David Squires' take on Coleman's choice to manage Sunderland is to cast him as Blackadder's 'wibble' with pants on head and pencils up nose. :)

'The Beast' Gennaro Gattuso is the interim AC Milan manager, after they sacked Montella.

Sutekh Allardyce gone to Everton yet ?

Everton confirm Sam Allardyce will finalise a deal today to become the club's new manager.

That popped up as an alert on my BBC Sport app on my phone 7 minutes ago.

LEONid SLUTsky departs from Hull City by “by mutual agreement” a real shame, loved his name.

Thoughts are with Deadlock and his cattery btw.

I liked the fact that the big fat cnut looked like an inflated Dexter Fletcher.

Slutskys’ playing career was cut short due to an injury sustained rescuing a cat stuck in a tree. You are the “covered in cats” man - no?
Just a tenuous reference to yourself to pad-out an otherwise non-event post. That’s all.

Take no notice of Genome...he’s been getting a tough time of it around here recently..
