Sebastian the Red Murts appointed as Rangers boss

That's brilliant. Well chuffed for him - it's absolutely a no lose scenario

Pepe the Horseman Murts 14/1 for the Rangers job looks decent value.

Took a while, but that'll do. Had a fiver at 16/1 in the end.

Old news now, obviously....Monk sacked by ‘boro on the back of a 2-1 win @ Weds

3 points outside the play-off spots

Wish we had their problems

And another.

Sheffield Wednesday have parted company with head coach Carlos Carvalhal after two-and-a-half years in charge.

Wonder if that's ever happened before. both managers sacked after they play each other? :D

Ridiculous sackings.

How do you get sacked after doing Wednesday?

Fans' expectations.
Wednesday have spent quite a bit bringing in Rhodes, Hooper etc.
'Boro have spent quite a bit and expected promotion.
Both clubs have spent many years at the top level and expect to be there again.

Wednesday did almost as well as us last season but their football is so ridiculously defensive minded-as bad as us.
Likewise 'Boro.

I should think fans of other clubs are surprised that we haven't done the same as we have spent a lot , are defensive-minded but with a poor defence and having just missed out on promotion last season have no chance being back up there again this time.

Whether it is the right way , to readily sack the manager, is open to question but it is what happens in our football (see also West Ham, West Brom, Swansea and Everton).

Forward thinking by the board. They'll need a manager with Championship experience soon enough.

Harsh on him I think. Forest won't ever do any better in this league with the players they have then 10th to 15th

I'd take Warburton at Reading and if the next two results for Reading are quite miserable it may well be on the cards....

Thats a shocking appointment on the face of it. They went to about 4 different managers too before Lambert so he automatically goes into the job looking like a last resort.

Either that, or it shows the lack of quality available.

That's my one worry about sacking Stam.

I caught a phone in on Talksport last week were the presenter (probably the scycophntic Sky luvvie Jim White) was amazed by the sheer volume and passion of the anti-Giggs feeling amongst the Wales fans.

I can totally see why after the way Giggs treated them as a player.
