Southampton sack their manager. Obviously hoping the new guy will get a reaction and a couple of wins.

John Smith If they lose, does Micciche go?

Reading his Wikipedia article makes me throw up in my mouth a bit. It is so obvious he wrote it

That entire second paragraph was constructed in a series of about 20 edits by a single (IP) user on 4th and 5th March.

He's such a dull, uninspiring appointment but probably all there was to choose from in their current plight. Would be mortified if I supported Saints.

I think he's a pretty solid manager to be honest and gets a bad rap considering his record isn't actually that bad.

Interestingly* I saw Mark Schwarzer on Sky last night implying that outside of the 90 minutes of a match Hughes is a bit too quiet and uninspiring,. It backs up a few comments I've heard/read in the past that he's actually quite the introvert.

My parents once met on holiday, Mark Hughes' old games teacher - and this was exactly what he said. As a player on the pitch a real competitor, off it, quite shy but intelligent.

My main memory of Mad Dog is the warm up in the Preston half of the pitch back in the day when I was just learning to love Rfc. Them were the days eh lads? Walsall was a tough place to go...

Is that why this forum was over-run with bots pushing drugs earlier? To help with the meltdown....can't say I've dared view the TB, Twitter is bad enough
