Awayawayaway Oxford Utd appoint one of the most dislikeable people in football as their new manager. Karl Robinson.

Horrible man and shit manager.

Somebody i know has an uncle that is a scout who worked ay charlton with him. Said he was an utter pcunt.

He'll fail with Oxford and end up in league 2 next.

He sees himself as a modern day visionary. He's just a fat Scouse twat.

Career fell flat after a couple of failures as manager then getting caught fcuking a tart in his car bonnet, behind his wife's back.

Leaving Burton was a disaster for him, wasn't it?

You get the impression that generally Joey is quite popular at the clubs he has played for so , despite his image and past , he might prove to be a successful manager.
He may be the new Warnock.
My one fear for him would be his lack of self-confidence.

When he isn't losing his head he's quite a thoughtful and erudite player/pundit.

I could see him being a decent manager but I'm amazed someone is willing to take the gamble on him.

Did brilliant at Burton but failed everywhere else but then that's probably true of a lot of managers, do well somewhere and not worked out anywhere else.

Seems to be something about Burton though. Their managers can't seem to do wrong as they all appear to be successful and punch above their weight with the club given their budget and resources.

A well run club with a clear vision and a solid succession plan/profile of what their managers should be perhaps?

Southampton and Swansea were similar until recent changes above presumably changed the thinking somewhere. You could argue that Reading have followed the same path.

Burnley as well. Could so easily have sacked Dyche when they got relegated in 2015 but are reaping the dividends of stability.
